Rowley’s is an independent auction house providing a comprehensive auction and valuation service for private and professional clients throughout East Anglia and the East Midlands.

Our experienced team of valuers work closely with leading experts and specialist consultants, some of whom have worked for the major London auction rooms or leading provincial auction houses. We specialise in appraising, marketing and auctioning items for national and international sale and preparing valuations for Inheritance Tax (probate), insurance and family division purposes.

We hold monthly Antiques, Interiors and Collectable auctions at our main salesroom, in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Following an early career with one of the UK’s major banks and having then worked for one of the region’s leading auctioneers Roddy set up Rowley’s in 2000 with the late James Guyer.

Having been brought up in a family antique business James brings with him, despite his youthful appearance, many years experience. He has the rare ability of calmly creating order from chaos.

DIANE WHITE

Office Administrator
Diane worked for a local firm of auctioneers and then spent 10 years with Christie’s at their King Street, London office as their Valuations Administrator before returning to Newmarket and joining Rowley's.

LAURA FULLER

Front of House
Laura, and Humphrey her Labrador, man reception and she is the initial point of contact when clients either telephone or visit the office.  Laura has a background in Customer Relations, she also helps with auction accounting and office administration.
